Default Retail Jobs - Who has the best employee discounts?

When I worked at The Gap, the discount was 50% and sometimes more if they really wanted to promote something. The only drawback was that when you worked, everything you wore had to be "current' (ie available to buy in the store at that moment) I guess that's why the discount is so good.

And I heard that CVS gives 15%.

I work at Bath and Body works and we get 30%, if you're management you get 40%. Not bad at all!

Target is 10%. I believe Old Navy is 20% - with the occasional higher discount for special promotions.

Wow that would be hard to work there becuase half your paycheck would be going to buy clothes. I hope they pay better.

I worked at Home Depot and they offered NO discount for anyone, period. Now I work at Shoppers Drug Mart and they offer 30% discount. Much better. JMHO, but I think a discount should be a perk of working retail, especially since the pay is often so low, and the hours can be erratic.

I read somewhere that Gymboree offers a 40% discount to their employees. That would be nice.

last i heard bb&b gives 20%, same as using a coupon. and LNT gives 25%
but both offer other discounts monthly or every few months on specific items depending on what the manufacturers are offering.

My daughter worked for Herburgers a sister store to Younkers and she got a 40% discount. But you had to open a CC and use it to get the discount! So if you did not pay it off each month you ended up with not such a good deal.

    Kroger gives a 10% discount.
