    Default Newbie from AL

    Hi everyone,

    I have read the forums off and on for quite awhile, but I have never really posted. I thought it was about time. I am a SAHM of 2 girls and I also have 3 stepkids who do not live with us. DH and I are trying to cut our expenses and live as frugally as possible so we can pay off our one credit card and save up for Christmas for all 5 kids. I have done it before (pretty much up until I met DH!), so I know it can be done. DH however is always wanting to buy things for me and the kids, take us out to dinner, etc. He is slowly coming around though.

    I am also trying to make my hobbies into a small home business to help out. I sew, knit, crochet, make jewelry, and cross stitch.

    I hope that I can get to know all of you!

    If I remember reading correctly, she is from the Montgomery area as well. The only reason I remember that is because I am too. Been living in this crazy place ALL of my life.
