"Another email about getting money (rolls eyes)

Do these guys ever give up?

This is what I received today:

numerous business negotiations and establishment. I just arrived
yesterday
night and checked in, in a hotel and decided to go down to the hotel
business centre to mail you. Now, with my sincere heart, I have raised
and signed an International Cashier's Bank Draft, to the tune of
USD$750,000 (Seven Hundred And Fifty Thousand Us Dollars) only in your
name as
compensation to your dedication, humanity and contribution, as it
were.

Please contact now, my personal Lawyer, He is in the name of :
Mr. Calvary Jideofor (Barrister)

I told him everything about this payment, At the moment, I'm very busy
here because of the investment projects which I and my new partner are
having at hand in Luxemburg. Finally, remember that I have forwarded
instruction to the Lawyer on your behalf to send the bank cheque to
you
as soon as you contact him without delay.

Nope, they don't. They have computer cafes in Nigeria where these people work 12 hour days sending this crap out. But hey, if there weren't people stupid enough to fall for it, they would stop, wouldn't they?

This is why I got my phone number changed. One said she had put me in her will, and I told her that was nice, but how did she know my name? She had the wrong name, but the right phone number, so I changed it.

It's so sad that this is giving Nigeria such a black eye. It's not the whole country, but the fact that they are based there that is bad for it.

Did you see that Dr. Phil show where the woman was in love with this man she had met online, but never in person, and kept sending him money? RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!! Did she ever feel like a fool when they proved to her that the man she thought he was did not exist, and that he was actually a Nigerian scammer. But seriously, this woman was just so desperate for love that she would have fallen for anybody. They prey mostly on the elderly and the lovelorn. Older women, scared to grow old alone, fall for these people all the time.

lol, i got one from a supposed soldier in iraq trying to get gold or money (cant remember which) out of there. i just deleted the email.

No, they do not give up. Mine come in spurts. I'll go a couple of weeks without seeing one, and then all of sudden, I'm getting at least one a day.

WOW. You are so lucky. I cant beleive your good fortune. You will surely be able to pay off all your bills now and have the life you could only dream of. ANd to think just because you have a old friend. HEY think what luck you could have with a new friend. FOr 15.5 USA.
