    Default Two guys, a girl and a big screen TV no one shuts off

    I live with my significant other and a roommate.

    My roommate is a friend who just got kicked out of the room his was renting so we took him in. He has been here for about three weeks and I want to strangle his neck.

    I have lived with my SO for about two years and I still want to strangle him.

    I don’t want to get into the actual things that people do to annoy others because they will just stress me out. But I do want to know if this sort of thing is normal.

    Is it normal for the people you live with to annoy you?

    Oh lordy hon I've got 17 years of training into my hubby and there are days I STILL want to send him home to his mother! I'm lucky that we have a lot of land and he has a shop I can send him to!

    I've been known to tell him "you know, I REALLY love you, but I don't really like you right now, go OUT!"

    hugs, don't strangle them, it's not worth the consequences!

    I would never hurt anyone. I was just trying to illustrate my annoyance.

    Yep. Three days with my mom, and I'm packing the car and going home.

    My ex had me threatening to take a baseball bat to the t.v. because I literally had to stand in front of it to make him listen to me, then he forgot what I said in about 30 seconds.

    We won't mention the other numerous things I hated about him....well, he IS my ex, and soon to be ex of someone else, so I hear. I should've listened to his ex wife.

    Just like we get on their nerves, they get on ours. Hard to believe but true!
    Talk to them about your concerns, don't let them fester. Good luck!

    My dear, if he didn't annoy you, you'd have to question what the heck is going on! I love to death, I'd give my last breath for him, I'd sacrifice just about anything in this world to be with him. But there are days I could literally pick him up and throw him out the window and then dust my hands off and walk away. just tell the two of them what they're doing to tick you off and let it go from there. Hope everything works out!

    Yep ya really need to talk to them or you will go crazy! Trust me, I've been there too.
    “When you get to the end of all the light you know
    and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
    faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
    you will be given something solid to stand on,
    or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller

    “Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
    there are signs that the world is speedily
    coming to an end;
    bribery and corruption are common; children no
    longer obey their parents;
    every man wants to write a book and the
    end of the world is evidently approaching.”
    — From a translation of an inscription on
    an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.

    God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
    courage to change the things I can,
    and the wisdom to know the difference
