Lost my voice...and I need it back!!!
Does anyone have any remedies for getting my voice back? It has been gone for over 24 hours! I miss it and need it to calm this crying baby! LOL.
TIA!

Get Lemonade concentrate and mix it with water according to the directions. Then pour a mug and heat it (I use the microwave for about it minute) but be careful - you want it hot enough to feel hot rather than warm in your mouth but not to burn your mouth, and the sugar in the lemonade holds the heat.
I don't know why this is more effectvie than just tea with lemon, but someon turned me onto it nearly 20 years ago, and it does seem to work. I usually need another mug about every 2-3 hours.
Good luck!

I would try the lemonade, warm. Or hot tea with some honey in it.

Our natural food store carries a tea called "throat coat". I can't remember the brand (I'm at work or I would go look)

Slice a lemon in half, salt and suck on it. No joke! It works! Just keep salting and sucking. Or gargle with salt water once an hour.

You're going to love this one told to me by a doctor. Take a white cotton sock and pin it around your neck before you go to bed/ It's suppose tohold inthe heat. Many people swear by it
