    Monopoly has gone moneyless also, with credit cards that you swipe on a reader. Talk about enabling the future generations!

    It's amazing all the toys geared towards teaching the young people about credit cards and teaching the lesson that they can buy it all on credit. I thankfully didn't fully understand how to use a credit card until I was 24 years old. I've only had 5 years experience with it (more than enough IMHO)

    Thanks for the warning. I'll be sure not to buy those for my niece and warn my sister about them. Shame on the toy companies but it is up to parents to teach their children resposibility. The toy companies don't make it any easier just like the clothing, shoe, handbag, and numerous other companies.

    My daughter is way past Barbie age. I had seen the commercial but never really thought about the message it is sending until I read this thread.
