Today is the beginning of my 4 day weekend. I've done next to nothing

I did start a load of laundry, take dinner out of the freezer, and drive out to pick up a free pet waterer (the kind that cycles fresh water through a spigot...hopefully this will keep my cat out of the sinks ).

I also sorted through 5 boxes/bags of clothes/shoes/toys that my kids have outgrown. I freecycled 4 bags & 1 box and set aside a bag for my sister's boys and a bag for my brother's daughter.

Okay, so maybe I did do quite a bit lol. I also knit a little & I'll knit some more in the van in a few minutes when I pick the kids up from school.

Tonight I'll do a little homework after dinner/baths/kids' homework.

I made it to the thrift shop and consigned some items and donated a large bag full. I've successfully purged!

Went to Michael's and dropped DH's CPA certificate off to get matted and framed for Christmas for him. He passed the exam in 1998 and I am finally getting his certificate framed. It cost $228.50 but it will well worth it. It is something he has always wanted done.

DS has football practice but he can only watch tonight - he has a few bruised ribs from a hard hit he took a few days ago at practice. Doctor said by tomorrow he should be healed enough to play in the game. I hope so, he has not been able to do much of anything - even talking has been difficult.

Need to take my truck to Sam's so it can get new tires.

    Fix something for dinner.

    Find my house key.

I've just been puttering around the house. My dh has been out of town helping his dad remodel his bathroom and he's coming home for the weekend. I didn't think he'd be home until late tonight. He just called me and said he'll be here in one hour. Ummm....so, I guess I need to whip him up something to eat and scrub the tub and lay out some clean clothes for him. He's been washing under a garden hose for three days (ick) because the shower and bathtub are gone. Poor guy, I feel bad for him. lol.

Later I'll take dd16 to work so she can pick her check up and I'll run into the store and buy some sour cream. I think I'll make an apple coffee cake tomorrow for everyone to enjoy.

Not much going on tonight. Dh and I will probably just cuddle up and watch shows we recorded all week.

I hope you're all having a a great frugal day.
    ~Dana~
