What's going on today, 10/8?
I have daycare kids coming, then after they leave tonight dd and I have to run to the grocery for milk, etc. In between, I've already mopped floor, need to do some laundry, general pick up. Have a great day everyone!

Goodmorning! Hubby is off againtoday & big thing on tap is cutting down a few dead trees to use for the outdoor fireplace. Love sitting out there on chilly evenings.
If things clear up outside I'll do some laundry & hang it out, if not it'll have to wait for a nice day, no way am I running that dryer.
Feels like a casserole kind of day, so that's what I'll make for dinner.~*Darlene*~

I am working from 6-3:40 with a little break to go to the Dr. with Dad. Then it is home to do a couple of mystery shops, weekly blessing of the house and dinner. Tonight watching Dancing with the Stars and sew.

I got up to get in my daycare kids and started throwing up. Had to send the first two home and call the rest. I hope to feel better as I am leaving for a trip tommorow night and need to get things together tonight.

Hey Happy Thanksgiving to you Northernmom2boys!! And to the other Canadians too! And our friends in the U.S! Just hanging out here too, having a small turkey for the two of us so it won't go in the oven for a little while anyhow, and just relaxing today. I might colour my hair a little later on if I get motivated but that will pretty much be it! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Good morning everyone,
I just got back from taking dd16 to her new school for the semester. She only attends for 4 hours a day, so I'll pick her up at 11:00. I'll head out of here in a bit to take dd6 to school and then come home and help dh pack to leave for his dads for the week. He's still helping him remodel his bathroom.
I also need to:
Do dishes, make beds and run the vacuum.
Clean cat box and icky dog doo in the yard.
Run to the bank and schedule a few payments.
Stop at Blockbuster after picking dd16 up from school since it's close.
Dd 6 has soccer practice tonight at 5:30
On the frugal front: The air is still on because it's been so hot lately. We're supposed to finally get some real Autumn temperatures in a couple more days and I can finally turn the a/c off. Thank goodness.
Lights out, tv's off and shades pulled. Dinner will be leftover fried chicken. The only money spent today will be on gas for the truck and I'm only filling 1/2 way and I'll try to make that last the full week.~Dana~

Running on caffeine today. It's a holiday at the medical school, but the library is open 7:30-5. Usually our student workers from local colleges cover these holiday shifts, but Columbus Day is a total non-holiday for the real world here, and they are all in school. The normal day staff are all off. That left ME to keep it open. The bad part is I worked until 11 last night, so I'm doing this on about 4 hours of sleep. I may have to put a sign on the circ desk: "If you need assistance, please wake up the librarian." I would love to do some housecleaning when I get home, but the odds of that are very slight indeed. I'm sure I'll just crash.

I have one house to clean (other than work on my own) then my brother and I are heading to the local reservoir to take pictures of an Iron Furnace that is usually submerged. The drought is significant enough that he believes it may be above water this month.
I am then planning on moving the furniture in the guest room so I can shampoo the other half of the carpet before bell choir rehearsal. The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

Our school system has the day off today. YEA!!!
I have to clean out my van and check the tires, oil, and transmission fluid.
I have to grade some papers, do lesson plans, and organize a huge binder full of special ed stuff that as lead teacher I'm in charge of.
I need to work in my closet and organize my fall clothes. Since I don't have many, it won't take long.
I want to bake either oatmeal or peanut butter cookies for the freezer.
And I plan on taking a nap somewhere in between some of these activities.

no day off here, our school system is ignoring columbus day. i've already working the breakfast shift and will head back in about 45 min for the lunch shift.
i did a few loads of laundry yesterday, but still have at least 4 to do 2 of them are towels so the kids can fold those. i need to vacuum the living room, sweep and mop the kitchen floor and clean teh counters. downstairs bathroom needs cleaning. my bedroom needs a pick up. we won't talk about the kids rooms
dd needs to do a poster for the sca. since it's not a project that will be graded, i might draw it out in pencil for her to fill in with markers. she already drew out what she wants it to look like on a piece of paper. then she can take it in tomorrow. it's a big poster that will cover our whole table so i have to clean off the table.
other than the poster, i'm not sure how much will get done. i have a migraine and even though i already took meds for it, i'm not sure it gonna go away until after lunch shift when i can take a nap.wife to carl
