Default What's up on Tues. 10/9?

Not doing much here, trying to keep my hands busy (quit smoking), need to do some laundry, vacuum, maybe mop floor again, pick up general clutter. Have to watch 7 mo. old daycare boy tonight for a little while.

~Kids go back to classes today after having their two week fall break. I hate it when they have to go back to classes - I really miss them a BUNCH.
~Maybe do a little picking up around the house.
~Do a few more scrapbook pages.
~DS has football practice tonight from 6-8.
    ~Take a nap.
    ~Make some dinner.

I am not doing very much today at all. I know I will end up calling the kids on their cell phones at least three times because I will miss them. If I take a long nap it will make the time go by faster until them and their dad get home around 4:30 this afternoon.

Today I have a busy daycare day. They all are here today! So be busy with that. In between I will try to pick up kitchen from cooking mess yesterday, and vacuum. Tonight I will paint the lattuce (sp?) around my deck and put the carpet back on. I had deck painted recently just waiting for no rain, no humidity to finish it up! Excited! Then watch a little tv, I think biggest loser is on.

I have a rare Tuesday off! Yay!

~Brought the kids to school, have house to myself so I can resume the de-toying I started yesterday
    ~hanging up some laundry
~Sending out a birthday present for a little girl
~Scrubbing the wood floors - these are old ones so its a big production
~Going to the thrift store to look for a child's raincoat - the cheapest retail one I saw was $35!!!
~7yo daughter has given me "pumpkin chores" pumpkin seeds, pie, carving, etc.
~make a quiche & a pie (premade crust:surprise: but the children never eat the crust anyway so...)

...and a bunch of other odds-n-ends I never get done with other peeps in the house!

Have to go to the bank, get a prescription filled, then come home and call the insurance company (Blue Cross - eck!). Clean, clean, clean! Try to find home for the kitten.

A regular work day here...except it was 22* this morning when I went to start my car and it took FIVE MINUTES to scrape the layer of ice off the windows of the car!! GRRRRR... Doesn't usually take that long!!

Going to have a frugal supper of beans and corn...yum! Dh is going to his club meeting at college today and gets a free meal! Woo-hoo!

Need to do a load of laundry when I get home...and am going to work out to a video I checked out at the library.

    Good luck with quitting Julie!!!

I had a Monday schedule for classes today because we had yesterday off for Columbus day. The kids are still off from school until tomorrow. So I had classes at 8a-freaking-m. Blech!

Now I'm home & I can't do laundry because my washer won't be fixed until tomorrow (hopefully!!). It's useless to clean up because the kids go right behind me and mess it up again

I have some homework & studying to do. Also working on another pair of socks

I envy everyone their energy. I still to this day don't know exactly what happened to me, but I know I have some kind of fatigue condition. I am treating it with vitamins and garlic tablets also putting extra garlic in most of my recipes. I am slowly getting my strength back, it is frustrating even though I am able to do more and more. Like for example I couldn't even walk 8 blocks 2 mos ago. Now I can walk that and back, plus carry some shopping. I can stand for a half an hour. I can concentrate for a couple of hours verses a couple of minutes.

So today was relatively productive, cleaned kitchen, cooked 2 meals( I can't eat more than 2 full meals anymore possibly because of the fatigue) did laundry, surfed the web for a job. I feel like looking for a job is pointless, in my situation, but well hopefully if I get a job I will be able to at least show up and put in my hours. I think in a couple of months I will be a lot better, but from what I am reading this isn't likely, but then the little progress I have made wasn't supposed to be likely either.

Luckily I don't need much money so if worse comes to worse, I could work 20 hours a week or less.
