Monday afternoon I put a bag of garbage outside by the back porch. It's gone. DH is out of town, so he didn't move it. I've walked the whole yard, and it is gone. Where would it go?

Hopefully no one took it looking for personal information...why else would anyone want it? That's weird!

I think it was Rocky Raccoon & his gang. Heard they were having a party near you and needed some party essentials.

do you have nice neighors, that knew your husband was gone and wanted to help you out?
do you have dogs that roam the neighborhood?
critters?
strane people?
There is a big rottweile that roams around. But where did he take it? Our house is fenced on all three sides, and we live in a populated area, and I've walked around and can't find it.
Oh well, one less bag to carry out tomorrow morning!

we dont really talk to our neighbors but i noticed once that theyre trash can (we have outdoor trash cans) was full and they hadnt been home in a few days. figured they were out of town. so i hauled it to the curb for them just as the truck was coming by. - maybe? since you have no rem nits of it... torn bag or trash floating around your yard.
One day I came home from shopping on trash day and was expecting to see the empty trash cans out front by the curb but ... they were gone! All 4 of them! I was about in a panic until I got to the back door and saw that "someone" had moved them to the back yard. It wasn't dd since she was in school so I figured out it was my own neighbor who is very helpful that way. A few weeks later, I heard a lot of noise in the backyard and peeped out to see my neighbor at it again! He's so nice. I never asked him to do that but one day I saw HIS trash cans rolling around in the street and I took them and put them where he keeps them by the side of his home. So now he is still paying me back for that one thoughtful act.
Maybe that is something like what happened to your trash bag (I hope!).
I have no idea, I've never found it! The house on that side of us is for sale and empty, and the other neighbor we don't really talk to. So I know that no one around here would take it for me. Oh well, one less bag to take out this morning.
