Trying to find a photographer....
for a daddy/daughter dance I'm heading up. Acckkk! Who knew this was going to be such a chore?!!! Found a sports photographer who "might" do it. He wants to know what "ballpark" he needs to be in $ wise. (I hate providing $ amounts)
I need someone who can provide photo's on the spot. How do I google something like this? I found this last photographer because they did our soccer photo's.

Have you considered contacting colleges in your area and seeing if there are students in their photography programs who might be interested? Some people start off in photography programs as real beginners but I had several friends who had already worked for photographers and at non-Sears or Walmart type photography studios for years before they started college...you might luck out and find some who are really good and already have all the necessary equipment.
edited to add: I think "photos on the spot" is generally referred to as digital photography, where you can preview and print all within a few minutes.I want to kill my mortgage! 192,391/197,370 (since July 2011)

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. I need 300 pictures though, in about 2 hours time. I'd need a few students.... that might be doable. I know someone taking a photography class right now! I'll call her up.
