    Default Its been so long

Its been such a long time that I have spent money that when I do I feel weird.

For the last year and a half I have taken 100.00 dollars cash out of the bank on friday and spending that and only that each week. I havent used the debit card in so long that it was getting dusty.LOL

Well a few weeks back dh got a check for 3,500. and we have paid off two accounts. I have been shopping for some much needed things for all of us plus some home repair stuff and let me tell you it is so weird to just walk into a store and buy what I need without haveing to make a choice. I feel like I have been spending a fortune and I keep balancing our account to make sure I havent over spent. I guess this means that I have truely changed my old ways. I am officialy a frugal person and not just a wanna be.

Congrats.. I can't even spend big at all. I get that sicky feeling..
But it is nice to get a open budget, just to get the stuff that you need, every once in a while. A treat..

I can't even spend little I've been on this buy-nothing kick since May; I have bought a few small things along the way, but normally I go into a store for something and come out empty handed. Last night I went to Home Depot and Walmart thinking I'd spend a fortune and I came home with nothing!

It's funny isn't it, once you start a habit of not shopping, how difficult it can be to even buy things you know you need and can afford.

That's awesome Ann! I feel guilty whenever I buy something even if it's cheap cause then I always think to myself "Did I really need that?" lol

I am a frugal woman, that's for sure!
