Today is going to be a little wet. They say we could get 3 inches of rain. That is all we don't need right now.

    - work from 6-3
    - laundry
    - exercise
    - track food
    - massage
    - clean main bath

Well today is my hubby's birthday and it's also our anniversary! We've been married for 36 yrs now and my hubby says I'm the best birthday gift he ever got. Sweet isn't it? I didn't sleep well either but I feel pretty good. I got up and made him a nice breakfast before he went off to work(He said from now on he's taking the day off). We had leftover french toast, bacon, eggs and tea for him and coffee for me. Packed his lunch and put a cupcake that I made yesterday in there with a "Happy Birthday" napkin. Some of the kids and their families are coming over for dinner tonight. I pulled out some chicken and turkey broth and I'm making rolled out dumplings(we call it pot pie), I'm baking a chicken and cooking peas. I might make rolls and a salad. I'm making an apple pie and having ice cream with carmel sauce(that I make) on top. I guess you can tell birthdays are a big deal around here. I need to run to sweeper and touch up the bathroom. I need to get my swap package off. I need to go to Curves. I need to wrap his gift.Make the pie and cook dinner. I may try to get a little nap in. So far this has been a great day! By the way we are going out to dinner this Sat. evening a lovely little place to celebrate our anniversary.

I'm tagging toys for a local schools annual toy sale. I get 60% of the proceeds. I need to get busy. I have lots & lots I want to get rid of. (While the kiddo's are at school) They'll NEVER KNOW!!!!! Sorry broke into a happy dance there for a moment.

The usual of course, clean up the kitchen - dinner in the crockpot - get some laundry started.....

    Have a great day!

    Happy Anniversary Thriftstorequeen!

Exciting day here, "the guy" (term just struck me funny& I'm laughing) is coming to pump out the septic today. Woohoo, not.

I cleaned alot before going to bed last night so not much to do but hang out the laundry that started washing at 6:30. Think I'll wait til after "the guy" leaves and the odor dissapates so my clothes don't smell like

Oh was funny this am I went to go grab my laundry basket & walked past the window and something white cought my eye. It was a big ole skunk, told Dh to be careful going out to the truck to head for work. He gave it a wide berth. Must be something good in our side yard because a rafter of turkeys(14)were hanging out there yesterday.

Hope you all have a good smelling day!

Daycare kids, trying to work on a learning box for each of them. I try not to just watch them, I teach them also. We are working on a box (diaper box) decorating it. Writing their name. Flash cards for shapes, number, alphabet, colors. (each individual sets)
It will be fun when they are finished.

Well since I am sick I actually woke up about 11:30am today, yikes! But I dont have much to do but clean off countertops, sweep the hallway and stairs and load the dishwasher some.

Tonight I have to cook up some steak and potatoes for tomorrow's dinner or tonights if I want to sneak a piece or two, lol.

    Happy Anniversary, ThriftStoreQueen!

The kids are up, dressed, and playing. My niece is here for the week and the kids are out of school, so it's a lot of noise here, but gotta love it. 2 more days and I take her home, looking forward to that too. Cause I get to go visit my family and friends in my hometown.

My son's asthma started acting up, so had to give him his inhaler, some cold medicine, and get him some sweats. Lunch today is soup and sandwiches. Making a list of things to do and I need to finish up working on my niece's photos I did and burn those onto a cd for her mom.

Hoping to get some scrapbooking in and start on some christmas projects.
