Default This was fun! Where Do You Think You Should Live?

After reading scrapmoms thread asking about wholesome places to live, I tried the www.findyourspot.com site that was mentioned.

Thanks for that, by the way! What a neat site!!

so - I thought it would be fun to see where everyone 'should' live, regardless of where they 'do' live

I'm in Ga - but apparently, I would be better suited to live in:

    Charleston, West Virginia
    Fayetteville, Arkansas
    Eugene, Oregon
    Corvallis, Oregon
    Hartford, Connecticut
    Providence, Rhode Island
    Portland, Oregon
    Salem, Oregon
    Little Rock, Arkansas
    Frederick, Maryland
    Danbury, Connecticut
    Baltimore, Maryland
    Medford, Oregon
    Sheboygan, Wisconsin
    Bend, Oregon

apparently, I should really be living in Oregon!!

Ok here is mine, I am currently in PA.

    - Paris, Tennessee
    - Morganton, North Carolina
    - Alexander City, Alabama
    - Heber Springs-Greers Ferry Lake, Arkansas
    - Hopkinsville, Kentucky

There were 4 pages but I agree with results, I like living in the small populated cities.

I've lived in Central Illinois my whole life. My results were all on the Gulf Coast - Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. I've never visited any of those places, but I'm always telling my husband I want to. I can't wait until DH gets home so I can have him take it!

ROFL! Apparently I belong in Las Vegas. I think my husband would disagree - we were there once and I hated it so much that I made him absolutely miserable with my crankiness. Four years, and I still haven't heard the end of it.

    Ok here is my list...

    Little Rock, AR
    Baton Rouge, LA
    Alexandria, LA
    Houston, TX
    Augusta, GA
    Tampa, FL
    Monroe, LA
    Lafayette, LA
    Orlando, FL
    Hot Springs, AR
    Fayetteville, AR
    Nashville, TN
    Shreveport, LA
    Covington, LA
    Jacksonville, FL
    Memphis, TN
    Oklahoma City, OK
    Charleston, SC
    West Palm Beach, FL
    Bradenton, FL
    Fort Worth, TX
    Biloxi, MS
    Champaign, IL
    El Paso, TX

So apparently I shouldn't have moved out of the Southeast. I've actually never been to LA, AR, or TX. However they are on there quite a lot. I want DH to do it too and see if we have anything in common.

That was fun . My ideals were all in the northern half of the states including Alaska, from the east coast to the west.

    Glen Falls, NY
    Sheridan, WY
    Augusta, ME
    Spencer, IA
Metaline Falls, WA (population 223 )
    Lewiston, ME
    Saranac Lake, NY
    Ketchikan, AK
    Littleton, NH
    Seward, AK
    Cedar Falls, IA
    Helena, MT
    Traverse City, MI
    Lancaster, OH
    Dillon, MT
    Plattsburgh, NY
    Abingdon, VA
    Lewisburgh, PA
    Leadville, CO
    Plymouth, NH
    Peterborough,, NH

They all looked like places that would be great to live in but I could so see myself in Metaline Falls, WA, the town is small with beautiful views. Maybe someday when I win the lottery, LOL, and no longer need to work, I will live somewhere like that.

    My top 5 are:

    Tulsa. OK
    Chattannoga, TN
    Clarksville, TN
    Greenville, SC
    Jackson, MS

And to me..all great picks. DH and I have seriously been talking about moving to the Tennessee area in a couple years so this was very ironic.
