disappointed in WalMart ship-to-store

So, I decided to try this ship to store thing through Walmart. I bought 4 Xmas presents for the kiddos. One had already come in last week - Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader game - we just haven't picked it up yet. We were waiting for the rest of it to get there this week. So I get an email today saying the store lost my items!!!!!!! Well.... FIND THEM!!! How do they lose my items? Only 1 out of the 3 things were actually things they sell at the store. I'm very disappointed in them. They refunded all but the $10 for the game but I think they should do more than that. I really want my order! They were Xmas presents and I really don't want to have to deal with shopping for more. Especially when one of the items is harder to find in stores. Here I thought I was done with Xmas.

So of course I sent them an email, because you know, they don't actually have a phone number to call, on their website. So I'm just waiting to hear from them. I don't think they will do much. I just don't understand why they didn't reship them? The least they could do is give me a gift card, but I know they won't. I bought everything else for Xmas from Target and I guess I will be doing even more shopping there from now on!

So, be advised - don't use Walmart ship-to-store!!!!

How frustrating! I have used Walmart's "Ship to Store" probably 5 times in the last year...and have not had a problem.

Hope they do something to try and "WIN" back your business.

I ordered a ton of stuff for my dds dorm room and everything went great the whole way.

Sorry your items got lost.

I myself would use them again unless(or until) something really goes wrong.

Could you not just reorder the items--still time for Christmas.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience. I hope that they can find your items and that you don't have to keep shopping for them.

sry u had that experience. when i got my dvd/vcr combo and my 5th harry potter book i told them to just ship it here. paid with a gift card i got for my birthday from my dad and stepmom. had no problems that way.
