It rained out my yard sale!!!

And I am so happy!!!!

We need the rain so bad.

It is raining steadily and beautifully.

We put out the clothes on our trampoline and in 5 minutes it started raining. Dh said if that is all it took to get it raining we would of had a yard sale months ago.

Before we could get the signs down we had someone pull up. This lady has been to the last two yard sales we have had. She is always looking at the plus sized clothes. She told me she was getting them for an in-home care patient who has no clothes. I told her to get all that I had and she could have them. She insisted I take money, but I said no. She thanked me profusely. I told her we were headed to Goodwill anyway. She walked off with 3 huge bags of clothes. I'm so glad we could help someone.

PS: Dh just left to take the rest of the stuff to Goodwill and he came back in and said that the windshield wiper motor just stopped. It has been going out for awhile and now it is kaput. He was fussing and telling me how it doesn't matter how hard we work or how charitable we are something always goes wrong. I don't care, I feel so happy being able to help someone in some way.

Sorry the sale got rainded out, but I'm glad you got to help out a person in need and that you got some much needed rain. Your generosity will eventually come back, sometimes it takes longer that we think it should or would like it to, but it does come back.
