Help! Pen marks on suede boots
I was at TJ Maxx this morning and I found a great deal on winter suede boots...too cute for words...lol Anyway they have a few blue pen marks on them. And I was wondering if anyone knew what I can use to remove them without damaging the suede? Or at least make the marks less noticeable.

Joy,
I just checked yellowpages.com and they have listings for cobblers....I think that would be your best way to go call first and ask them if they can suggest something, or ask how much it would cost you to have it done by them......The cobblers I have dealt with over the years all seem to be pretty decent folks and there prices are usually really low.

Try asking a leather or suede shop for a suede cleaner/eraser (I'm not sure of the exact name). It looks a bit like an artgum eraser, but is harder. I have used them in the past with excellent results.

hairspray or alcohol can remove pen, but I am not sure what it will do to your boots. I would try alcohol on a q-tip.
