Orange County Fire

<small>We took these pictures last night just about a block away from our apartment. I had to stay in the car while DH took the pictures. The smoke was giving me a headache.

Angela ~ you are in my prayers for safety!

Have you heard anything about possible evacuation or are the fires still far enough away? Having just moved from Orange County (my parents and sister are there) I'm very concerned for everyone.

They have evacuated a few neighborhoods, but not mine yet. DH is really pissed because our firefighters are getting no air support for this fire. It is all going to the other fires. They are having to fight it on the ground only, which is why is it moving so fast. I'm just praying that the wind dies down or it rains, or something to stop it. This fire was caused by arson, which is really upsetting to me that someone would purposely do that.

Yikes that is really close!! That really stinks that it is arson. Why are people so stupid???!! Who doesn't realize all the damage and heartache that will cause...guess they just don't care. Sorry. Hope the wind dies down soon and you get some rain.

We went out to So. Calif to meet our son's in-laws last Saturday. They did not have to evacuate(yet), but let me tell you, I'll take a Missouri tornado any day.(My kids used to think we were going to the basement for a picnic.)In-laws were great!!
