Cutting wood?
I need to build a sort of door for a really deep bookcase. You might remember them as my cat crap smelling bookcases.
Anyways, I am aware that I will need to cut the wood and am wondering what I will need. There are so many things in the way of saws that I just don’t know.
For some reason circular saw popped in my head.

If you just need a few pieces, you can probably get your lumber yard to cut them for you. We have various saws, but if Hubby is gone, I usually opt to have the local lumber yard do the cuts for me. They don't charge me if I'm buying the boards from them, and they charge me a very small amount if I bring them in boards I already have.
We do have a small-town lumber yard, so I don't know if the big box stores will do this.

Lowe's & Home Depot have both done it for me in the not to distant past....if you buy the boards there. If you don't, they won't. But it doesn't hurt to ask, it may vary by location. Otherwise a circular saw or table saw should work. A table saw will give you a straighter cut....if you have access to one.
