    Default Why do men?

Act like they are dying when they get sick?????

My dh has a headache! OH DEAR! He's stumbling around, holding his head, etc... I sent him back to bed, with all the shades closed, after some tylenol. Good grief.

It's in the genes Julie. Poor things...good thing men don't go through childbirth. Could you imagine?

Seriously though I just think they like someone taking care of them. Feeling bad & wanting to be cared for is ok, just do-not Whine. I hate whining.

Headaches can be pretty disabling, as well as pretty serious. Just ask anyone who has migraines. Sharon Stone had an aneurysm once, and she said her only advice is that if you have the worst headache you've ever had, to go to the hospital immediately. She had this headache for days, and luckily, got to the hospital before it burst and killed her.

But yes, men are babies. But for all they do for us, they deserve a little babying from time to time.

Most men are babies because their mothers made them that way, or allowed them to be that way. Mine is too lol
Not all men are like that. Mine when he's got the flu stays in bed like he's dying, and when Im sick he wont even check on me. lol

Same here! I'll have all the blinds shut and the lights off... but I still have two kids to care for, supper to cook, and laundry to fold.

My DH does at least acknowledge that men are like this.

I don't think this is the case, when he kept calling to me to come in and feel his head. Then he was sick to his stomach, I think he has the flu. He went to work today, but has called me about a hundred times to whine!

I think they are less accustomed to minor discomforts (and I use the word "minor" with great trepidation) such as cramping. Women deal with this kind of thing from an early age, and learn to just plod on through a lot. At the same time, I think men tend to ignore things like muscle aches better than many women. We are just different.
