I'm new here!
I Am new to the frugal village and looking forward to all sorts of info from everyone about being frugal and helping me save money. I am 52 and deeply in debt (yet again) so I am going to get SERIOUS about this saving money thang as we say here in Missouri. No children or husband so nobody to blame but myself. My sister and I did our first garden this summer with some success and bought a pressure cooker and put away quite a bit of stuff and trying to learn about "gardening" from books so if any kind gardners can give us tips on keeping down the weeds and getting more from the garden I would be eternally grateful. Hope everybody gives me feedback, cause I sure need it.

Hi Shauna! Be sure to pop by our gardening forum also. I'm there a lot, and I am always willing to give what knowledge I have.
I'm 55, and started over just last year on my own, so I know the challenges you are going through. I'm not deeply in debt, but I'm going to be deeply in medical debt soon, I fear.
Hang in there, things do get better, and these people here are the best!

This forum is just too cool. When ever I get the itch to go and spend I just log on and find some kind of a cool thread to join in. After I have yacked a bit the urge is over with and I continue my day or night whatever the case may be. These guys and gals will keep you on your toes with their knowledge. They won't let you down and are here to perk you up.
glad to have you aboard.

No husband, no children, no one to blame but yourself. Me too. On the bright side, there's no one else to go around sinking the ship behind your back! You'll get it all straightened out soon. Lots of good, good information floating around here. Welcome.
