Talking Do I need a life?

Sometimes I wonder about me.... The most exciting thing in my life right now is that I have started getting the senior discount at Kroger, 10% off all their house brands, even 10% off on top of any sale price. I stopped by last night after work, and was all smiles when I went through the receipt this morning. It's only 10, 15, 20 cents here and there, but it feels GOOD. I've always liked Kroger best of all our grocery stores here, and this is just another big reason.

I had to post, because you're about the only folks I know who won't think this is crazy!

I call my parents and brag about the sales and savings I get.

My dad does the same thing to me.

    Hey---whatever floats your boat!!

Actually I get lots of thrills from good deals. And I'm perfectly happy being that way.

I don't pay attention to what people think about me. I like me and the Lord loves me, so all is well.

No you are not crazy! When I get a great bargain I call my mom, sisters, and my two daughters. Sometimes I was wondering if I was getting my frugal ways to my two daughters. Well I did! They call me at the mall or wherever they are and let me know what good deals they got. The other people are crazy! NOT US! LOL

Nope, you have a life, and that IS something to be excited about. Can you stack coupons on that?

    To a couple of questions:

You have to be 59. Actually, I wasted six months of it. I thought it was 62, but I think that's the age for one of the other stores that I rarely use - way too expensive. I just happened to notice "59" in the ad the other night and thought, "Hey, that's ME!"

Yes, I can use coupons on top of that, and Kroger, at least here, doubles to .50, and triples to .35. Of course, there aren't coupons for the store brands, but I like theirs and use a fair number of them anyway.

I would say that same thing except its my mom. My life is about shoping for food and cleaning the house. That fine with me , no drama. When my kids are grown I might get a life.
