    Default Gabriel Brothers

    http://www.gabrielbrothers.com/

I have my husband's annual awards banquet to attend this Saturday. Dress tends to be a little nicer than business and I was hoping to find a nice blouse to go along with a skirt I already have in my closet. No great luck in that, though I did find a turtleneck sweater that will do in a pinch. But the deal I did find was a Coldwater Creek dress, regularly $90, for a meer $16.99!!!! I'm happy and it isn't dry clean!!! So for the first time I won't feel underdressed for the occasion.

Does anyone else shop Gabe's? This is only the second time i've ever been there.

I have shopped there on occassion and gotten a few good deals. Be sure to check the items over carefully as many are seconds and some have rips or tears. You can also find some nice household items there at good prices if you watch

We have one of those not too far away. It use to be the place to shop. Now it is dingy and dirty. The quality is way down on their items. Last time I went to the store, I stood in line for 20 minutes for a pair of shoes only to be told that the price on the box was not the correct amount. I told them they could keep the shoes and walked out. I was not a happy camper.

we have a few not too far away. i go occasionally but like baronmom said that are kinda dirty ( since you are in PA we may be going to the same one) and the checkout is so awful my husband has refused to go back LOL. i do still pop in every now and then cause some things are just so cheap there how can you help yourself (especially rugs and towels) when i have the patience but i actually prefer my much closer goodwill.

I didn't realize there were other FVagers in Baltimore. I went to the one in Bel Air on my way home from work. It wasn't very crowded in the early afternoon, but i do agree, there is a dingy quality to the place.
