oh, I must be weird, I wish it were daylight savings year round. I like it being light later in the evening, then it doesn't feel so much like winter which is kinda depressing to me, lol. Oh well, for all of you that enjoy it, gald it is finally here for you.

here in Canada we also say to put new batteries in and check the smoke alarms. That and in the spring.

I love the beginning of winter, the darkness, cozying up by the fire.
Of course, by March I will be griping about it, and ready to 'spring-forward'

We (here in Holland) had time change last week already. One more hour of sleep!!Yeah!
I am looking forward to the last Sunday in March! Time springs forward!!

This is DS's favorite night of the year. He likes the idea of an extra hour of sleep. He has been counting down to it for a few weeks now.

When I was working at the hospital, on 11-7 shift, I would always get stuck working this night. Work one extra hour, and not get paid for it.
