Amazing deal at the store last night!

We (as in the three of us) went for a little stroll last night to the grocery store. Bought everything we needed for cooking and then saw ORGANIC milk (Organic Valley, my fav brand) as discontinued! The expiration date is somewhere mid December so we bought a gallon and a half for $1.85 per 1/2 gallon. Since DH is the only one drinking milk (after giving birth the taste of milk makes me gag - go figure.. ) and I just use it for cooking every now and then these are going to last us for a looong time. What an amazing deal! For once DH was excited about a good deal, lol.

thats a good deal. u can freeze what your not using if your going to use it just for cooking.

Oh what a neat idea! Is it ok to freeze if they're not in plastic bottles? (you know the regular cardboard ones)
