why i hate dentist offices.

i am sure it's the vicodin kicking in...but right now i am feeling ok.

The dentist needed to give me 6 shots of the numbing stuff and i was still shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, albeit a numb and drooling leaf . So he gave me nitrous oxide. That calmed me right down. He wouldn't let me take it home with me. I asked.

the kids are still being crazy. think maybe it's they don't know how to deal with mom being down for the count. Must be scary for them i guess.

Seeing mom with those "chipmunk" cheeks and not herself probably is a little scary for the kids.

I'm glad your feeling better. Keep an eye open for infection though.

I feel bad for you and I am glad that you finally got in to see the dentist. We keep begging my Mom to go but she refuses. The dentist had told her that they would not take care of her broken teeth and cavities without treating periodontal disease first and that pissed her off so much she is living with the pain of a broken molar that is cutting into the side of her mouth and making her throat sore, too. She sometimes has to get off the phone because her mouth is hurting so bad and she doesn't have dental insurance either.
