    Talking Sometimes I LOVE credit card companies!

    ~We just got a $30 credit on one of our credit cards if we use the card in the next week. We stopped using this card regularly when we got a rewards card. I'm sure they think they can hook us into charging Christmas presents and then making payments but the joke's on them. We'll charge our anniversary dinner this weekend and pay off the balance when the bill comes. Thanks for the anniversary present Citi!~

    Awesome! We got something like that too! Was use the card within the first 3 months of opening and they will give us 10,000 points good for a $100 GC to a vareity of places to choose from so DH used it for gas $22.02 and got $100 GC to Sephora for me, lol and we paid the $22.02 within that week.

    I just had one of them offer $20.00 since I hadn't used it in a long time, went online and ordered 4 boxes of checks with a special deal and including shipping the checks will cost me all of $4..25 thanks to the CC offer. Those should last us at LEAST 4 years, we almost never write checks!

    And have $100 credit on our main card that we use for fuel, we pay it off monthly AND they pay us 3% cash back on the purchases!

    Yep, use em right and CC's can be a GOOD THING

    I sometimes get a deal like that with a Discover card we almost never use.
