Yesterday was one of those days..
Have you ever just done, everything, like I start from one end and go and go and go? I multi tasked all day. Sometimes, three things at once. By the time I had finished my day (well I called it quits) I was so tense that I couldn't relax to go to sleep. Not a nice person and it even made me madder that, no one cared that anything was done. My own husband so lost in his own thoughts, didn't show appreciation for anything. And knowing that I was exhausted, still left me to do homework and baths...motherhood....GEEEEEEE........Even though I am ahead, I just felt so overlooked...
And I am trying to keep the positive. Hey I am ahead, but sometimes being a wife, mother, friend, is so unappreciated..
Well now that I have vented I feel much better.. Thanks for always being my friend and listening to my rant...
so for all those unappreciated today.. I appreciate you.. Have a blessed day...

I totally understand what are feeling my dear. I was going 100 miles an hour on Sunday doing all sorts of things and my SO sat in his chair watching football ALL day. Then he has the nerve to ask me when dinner is and say that he is TIRED! Too funny. I was happy I had gotten so much done but I suppose I was the only one that noticed or cared. Just know you are appreciated!

This thread is such perfect timing for me. Yesterday was a hard day for me too. Taking care of DH who just had back surgery last Friday, doped up on pain meds so he's not there, so to speak, and sending me here and there all day to get stuff for him - and the hiccups. He has had post-operative hiccups since right after he woke up from surgery. Every time he mentioned it to someone at the hospital they would say stuff like 'really? wow thats strange'. And then nothing offered. Finally we both called the surgeon's office at different points in the day yesterday, because when he first called, he got brushed off and told to call his PCP. Uh, hello - #1 this is a POSTOPERATIVE problem - #2 he is unable to get in a car and sit in a waiting room right now - #3 HE HAS HAD THE HICCUPS FOR 5 DAYS! He was hiccuping in his sleep, while snoring! To their credit the surgeon's office did stay in touch with us all day after that phone call from me. But the first time the surgeon called back he really didn't have anything to offer DH to stop the hiccups. I got so mad, I told DH that 5 minutes on Google gave me a few different medications that are given for hiccups. DH then called the Dr. back and gave him the name of a medication and the Dr. called in a Rx for it. Half an hour after he took his first pill, the hiccups stopped. But an hour later they started again when he had to cough. But they stopped sometime during the night, and so far so good, the hiccups have not returned.
DH has decided this morning that he's ready to stop all the pain meds. He's tired of being doped up and feeling fuzzy headed. I get my husband back, Yay! Today is a better day.“When you get to the end of all the light you know
and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things will happen:
you will be given something solid to stand on,
or you will be taught how to fly.” - Edward Teller
“Our Earth is degenerate in these later days;
there are signs that the world is speedily
coming to an end;
bribery and corruption are common; children no
longer obey their parents;
every man wants to write a book and the
end of the world is evidently approaching.”
— From a translation of an inscription on
an Assyrian clay tablet, circa 2800 B.C.E.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Ms. Louise i know how u feel dear. You vent any time. Were here for ya. All mothers at one time or another go through it. Last week when I saved on the groceries I was really proud of myself after the weeks before hubby growling about money. I got no thanks for saving that amount.duh? on my forehead ? lol I guess it was just his weeks of PMS and the money in groceries had to be the thing to growl at lol
