Talking Wow - do I ever have ambitious neighbours!

Earlier today on my way to swimming I forgot to grab my banking to make one round trip. So while the laundry was going about tonight and things were settling down after dinner I popped out.

Earlier in the day when I had peeked outside and saw all the neighbours raking leaves in the chilly am I never noticed their houses when I arrived home from swimming. During my jaunt to the bank machine I noticed that they've not only tidied up all their leaves and bagged them for collection but they've also put up their Christmas decorations too! Lights, garlands, bows and all! All the while, they still have their 'autumn' decorations still out Hows that for ambitious?!

Guess their motto is "be prepared", lol.
Wish folks wouldn't rush Christmas but that's just my thing. It still is technically "Fall".
I can see them stringing lights when the weather is good but not lighting them yet...

It can be cold here after thanksgiving so people put their lights up early. I love looking at the lights but I love anything with sparkle.

In CO a lot of people would put up their outdoor decorations in November before the weather turned too cold. However they wouldn't light them up at night until after thanksgiving.
