Sold Our Home

We put our home on the market a month ago and sold it within 3 days. We never expected to sell it that fast as it is only a 2 bedroom but the realtor said houses are going like crazy because of the interest rates.

So now we are in the process of trying to find another house and not having much luck. We have a few more that we want to look at.

We are currently paying $990 mortgage every month and we don't want to pay that for the next 28 years so we are looking for something that with our money from selling this house will put us in the position to be able to pay the new house off within 2 to 3 years.

We are looking forward to being debt free

So tired of looking at houses though

Where do you live? We are in the process of trying to move out to PA. I am from there originally. We are having a hard time searching for a house from 1000 miles away though.

Maybe you could get an apartment or something till you find just the right house to buy? That would give you time to find the one thats perfect for you.

I agree- house hunting is such a pain in the butt!! When we went looking- the houses were sold before we could even look at them. Everytime I'd call about a house, it had sold a few weeks before. Grr!!
