My sweet hubby!
Can I just start off by say I love my hubby so much?!?! He did the sweetest thing (even if I was frustrated with him at first)
The other day we were out shopping. I picked up my shampoo and put it in the cart, well a couple mins later I put it back tell DH that we did not need to spend the $4 that day. We have shampoo at home that I do not like, but could make do with it untill it runs out.
Well he went after work and got it for me. When he walked in with it I was a little frustrated with him, telling him that I was trying to save money that is why I did not get it and he should have used the money for gas. He said I know that you are trying to save money and this is your reward for doing such a great job! What can you say to that? I just Melted, I really do love that man!
It is all the smalls stuff he does!
OK I am done gushing about my hubby!

What a sweet and practical reward for him to get you. Thats the type of frugality we like.

Thanks girls, yeah he is a keeper. He is so funny he seems to be able to make money last forever, when I ask where he got the money he says he is frugal. LOL!

Awwww, he reminds me of my hubby. Just last week he surprised me with a new feed bucket for the goats since the handle kept coming off the old one. Sadly, I never got to use it, so he took it back Tuesday and got his money back from the farm supply store and bought me a card and a rose. One time when I was going through a blue period (oldest DD had just left home to marry) he walked into the kitchen where I was standing at the stove, stirring a pot of beans I was cooking, crying, with a little white rooster tucked under his arm, big smile on his (hubby's, not the rooster's) face, cause he knows just what to do to make me happy. Roosevelt needed a home and I needed a new friend.
No GF, you go ahead and gush all you want. Your DH deserves it.

Marsh hen you sound like you got a keeper too! LOL!!! The rooster is too sweet, how cute! I have been married to my hubby for 5 years we have been togerher 7, and it is just so nice after all the loser I have been with to finally get a good one. All my friends told me he would go off of "good behavior" after we got married...ahhhhhh thankfully they were wrong!
