December Birthdays & Anniversaries
Just wondered...other than the Christmas festivities, how many of us also celebrate birthdays and anniversaries in December?
I have 4 houseapes that are December babies:
ds#3 Dec 18 (age 11)
ds#2dec. 19 (age 21)
Ds#5 & dd Dec 23(ages 4 & 6)
the kids that are on the 23rd aren't twins...they are exactly 2 yrs apart to the date - we call them "The Terror Twins".

On top of that one of our furbabies was also born on the 4th....
I find this week to be birthday chaos but Mom has taken it harder. She has declared that there are to be NO MORE BIRTHS in December, most especially GRANDBABIES!!!!

you're too funny girl

I have to really plan ahead for December. I guess that I didn't do too bad this year...
I might have spent about $85 for everyone's gifts.
I will make 3 huge chocolate cakes from scratch-the terror twins share one(gonna get sick of cake)
and then we have a family tradition of taking all of the birthday kids out to dinner.

CONGRATUALTIONS on the arrival of your new neice. How exciting! Whats her name?
Our 15 yr. old adopted daughter has twin sisters who's birthday (they will turn 13) is December 23. The couple that adopted them also adopted their youngest brother, he will turn 12 in January, and dh's aunt adopted another brother who will turn 14 in January. DD's birthday is Nov. 15th. We all get together and throw a big combined birthday party for all of them every July, but they each exchange Christmas presents on Christmas Eve each year. This year the Christmas party will be at dh's aunts house and it will be here next year. The kids got together and this is how they wanted it, so this is what we do, even though they see each other all the time.
Happy Birthday to all December babies here at the village!

I have two daughters with December birthdays - oldest will be 8 on the 13th, and the third dd will be 3 on the 19th. Additionally, our nephew's birthday is also the 13th, my mom's birthday is the 18th and our neice's birthday is the 21st.
It is very expensive for us this time of year. It is very important to my mother (see reason why above) that we don't gyp the December birthdays. But we have a $50 limit (at their ages now) for birthdays. But after Christmas we have 6 months before another birthday.Amy
