Stomach Bug
We have had this stomach bug going through our house since Saturday. I've "lysoled" and cloroxed constantly as I have felt well enough. This thing has been a huge budget killer... The washer and dryer have been going constantly. The box of laundry detergent that normally lasts two or three months is almost empty after only about 5 weeks (mainly from these past few days). The two little ones have gone through their two-week supply of diapers and wipes I just bought on Friday. And I have had to make two trips to the grocery store to buy Gatorade and Pedialyte.
I thought we were all on the mend and the two youngest have started up again this morning.
I hate to whine about this because we are lucky that we are healthy enough that a stomach bug is an inconvenience, and not a major medical problem. But it is killing our already tight December budget, and it hit the day after I finished Christmas/Birthday shopping. I really hate the idea that we are going to have to hit our EF this month for this knowing that we are going to have medical bills coming in January for ds' trip to the ER in November.
It is just starting to feel like we will never get ahead if something as minor as a stomach virus can set us back like this.Amy

Hey girl, pat yourself on the back that you HAVE an emergency fund to handle this. You actually did a good job preparing for this without even knowing it!

I couldn't have said it better myself. (((Hugs))) and prayers coming your way that the little ones feel better real soon and this is the end of the sickness in your family.
We have been lucky so far. No one here at my house has had it, but it's all over the high school from what I hear, so I've loaded DD up with hand sanitizer and told her to not touch anything unless she has to. So far, so good.
