SAM'S CLUB RANT

This definitely has not been my week...seems like the majority of my posts have been rants...sorry.
okay today it's Sam's club I also go shopping there once a month..and this is what I saw for price increases:
25lbs. flour (peter pen) 8.53 (7.13 last month)
pompom toilet paper 45ct- 17.88 (17.58 last month)
18 ct eggs - 3.02 (2.00 last month)
Act2 popcorn-6.44 (6.34 last month)

usually I would notice the grocery price increase around jan-feb every year -then it stays the same....but not this year...things are going up every month.It seems like its getting so bad that I have a hard time writing out the grocery list/budget.GGGRRR
18ct eggs last year were .97 now they're 3.02??? rediculous

okay, I feel better now
hopefully nothing else ticks me off for the rest of the week...it is so unlike me to be a crab.

ya, eggs are ridiculous. I'd mail you some if I could. Although my hens have been on strike with the cold weather lately. I know waht you mean though, seems every time I go to the store, everything is just 5-10 cents more than last time.

I did the same at Sams last week. Our bag of wings were usually 11.00 they were almost 15. Then I usually get the big box of beef hotdogs and they used to be 10 they were close to 15 too. The spiral ham was almost 20 this time. from 15, I could just go on. I am barely keeping within our budget. And with only one kid to watch I have very little to work with to begin with.

Dang! You're having a stinker of a week!! I can't believe how fast things are going up!! We'll have to really be leaning on our pantry more than ever. I've got a crock pot of soup going for supper (again).

Sorry you're getting hit in the wallet so hard!! You always do so great at tracking things...imagine the people who don't watch at all! They'll never know what hit 'em!!

Personally, I think this is just the beginning of the price hikes. With the cost of fuel oil rising every day and the droughts, fires and flooding, it's almost a given.

I haven't shopped Sam's club since I saw a mouse running loose in the store one day. Totally freaked me out.

All the prices are rising this year. At work we are raising prices again and people are starting to notice. I have gotten some complaints in the past month.
