Yet another Australian Newbie!
Hi, I have actually been a member for well over a year and have read and read threads just gathering ideas, hints and tips, particulary from the debt reduction side of things - everyone there is so inspiring. Whilst i have never posted before I have taken onboard a lot of suggestions and good financial management ideas from the lovely people here and have over the year reduce my debt and become more of a consious spender and consumer. So thanks for all that! Now that 2008 it about to rock around i plan on becoming a more active member.
How did you hear about frugal village? A web search when we were going through a tough financial time.
What interests you here? Debt reducation, frugal challenges
Do you know any other members here? No
How many kids? Ages? I have two children, my eldest is almost 8 years old and my youngest is just 3 months old - both handsome boys!!
Tell us about yourself. I am a special education teacher - a challenging but rewarding job.
Do you own any pets? We have two dogs, one cat and lots of fish!
SAHM or Working mom? I am a working mum, only 6 weeks of maternity leave left
Married or single? I am married to my high school sweetheart (love how soppy that sounds) we have been together for 15 years and married for 10.
Interests and hobbies? Reading books, trying to write books, looking after my lovely family.
I love reading all the intersting posts and threads on this forum and look forward to contributing more.
