    Default Bus Driver Rant

    Normally I don't do anything when someone is just a jerk. However, today I ended up taking the bus to the grocery store. I had a cart with me. Anyway I was finished shopping and waiting for the bus. The bus shows up. I asked the bus driver if he could lower the bus. I was having trouble getting the cart on the bus since it was higher than the sidewalk. He looks at me and says what for. So I struggled and was able to get the cart on. The a****ole apparently could not push the button to lower the bus. I very nicely thanked him after paying.

    When I got home I called the transit system to report him. Even asked the guy taking the report if it is just a button to lower the bus and he said yes. Gave the guy all the info even that I showed the bus driver my medicare card before I got on. The card gives me a discount because I am disabled. Fortunately another passenger helped me with the cart getting off the bus.

    Yes I realize the bus drivers have to put up with alot but really now how hard is it to push a button. I do believe in Karma. I just thought I would help Karma.

    So thanks for listening to me rant.

    Glad you called the company, sounds like the driver could use some tme in the time out chair. Shame on him.

    Hugs, mean people SUCK! And yep, karma will bite him in the butt when he least expects it! May not be today or tomorrow, but it WILL get him!

    Good for you for reporting him! Accommodating his customers is part of his job. Bet he'll be nice to the next lady with a cart!
