Default I cant believe I did this

We were out this past weekend to do some shopping so we went to Pizza Hut ... and when we was done it came to $ 50.00 I felt so bad when we got home for spending all that money. We did have a good time but I just cant get over the money I spent. I told DH we could have made pizza so much cheaper than what we paid of it. Why is it so Hight to go out and have a meal. I really cant go to much cheaper than $50. when the 4 of us go out to eat . So we all have not been going out to eat to much.

Oh I know what you mean! But, I think it's O.K. once in a while to go out with the family. Don't beat yourself up about it, It's not like ya'll do it all the time and it is quality time with those you love.

Every now and again a good splurge helps everyone stay on track to being frugal. I say it's well worth it.

I agree with the other ladies. Don't beat yourself up over it! You can't go back and you had an enjoyable meal out w/ your family. That is what is most important, as long as you aren't doing it every night. While DBF and I were on vacation, we spent $50 at Ruby Tuesdays for dinner for the 2 of us! I felt so bad afterward, but I just told myself that it was a vacation treat b/c it is something that we never do.

It's great that you are so aware of any extra money you're spending, but don't beat yourself up over it.

The fact that you are so frugal allows you every once in a while to treat yourself and family to a night out!

I'll bet it will be a long while before Pizza Hut sees you again!!

I agree with the others, we NEED to splurge occasionally to keep on track and not drown in the every day things.

I made hubby take me out tonight, we almost never go out but I'd had a *ell of a day and a late nap, so nothing ready for dinner.

Nothing like a nice super greasy bad for you Long John Silvers shrimp dinner to pick ME up once a year or so Almost as good as chocolate!

I agree with everyone else it may have cost more than you would have liked, but look at the great time you had. I figure I live frugally 90% of the time to help me afford that 10% of "Wow, we are worth it" living.

I agree. It's nice not to have to figure out what to have, make it and clean up the mess once in awhile. We would spend $40 on the three of us until we started going to this pizza place. A large homestyle with two topping, 12 cheese sticks and unlimited drinks is $19.43! And it's good. So once a month we'll splurge.

Amazing, isn't it? But, I agree with the others. Just enjoy that opportunity to be out once in awhile with your family.
