Where in Savannah do you live? We lived in Richmond Hill until a little over two yrs ago. I dont miss the heat and the knats I must say.

Hubby is a crane operator at the port of Savannah. Has worked there 34 years this past October. We live 10 miles west of Darien, Georgia. Before moving back here in 2004, we built a house in Sunbury and lived there for 4 years, which is on the coast of Liberty County just east of Midway, not far at all from Richmond Hill. I see you are an Army family. When you lived in Richmond Hill, were you stationed at Ft. Stewart in Hinesville or Hunter in Savannah?

My daughter and her family still live in Midway, and I visit Hinesville, Midway, Richmond Hill & Savannah quite often, as well as Brunswick to the south of us.

I lived at Ft. Stewart and in Glennville. Then in Ludowici for 2 years.

My hubby's family is from Glennville (Blocker), and last year DD went to Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici (at the train tracks, where the library and the gazebo are). The school cafeteria used to be the Ludowici Health Clinic years ago. My Hubby and a nephew were both born there two hours apart on June 9, 1955. It's about a 35 minute drive from where we live to Ludowici and roughly 45 minutes to Hinesville. I have a shortcut though, and I can get to Hinesville in 35 minutes, LOL.
