Hi from Green Bay!
Nice to meet you all, I've been lurking for months and have learned a lot. I'm here because I'm sick of being a slave to my boss (and the hubby's boss). We currently live paycheck to paycheck, and there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. After countless arguments, we've decided to work on our budget together, with the help of frugal village.
Our credit card is low and will be paid off next month, but we have other loans. My husbands work means that he is layed off sporadically throughout the year, but he makes pretty decent money when he isn't layed off.
My husband also struggles with some recent health issues that will be there for the rest of his life, which is leaving us getting a little snowed under with medical bills right now. We also have a couple loans that are killing us.
On the happy side, I've been married 16 years to the love of my life. We have no children - by choice - but do have some pets and a decent house (it needs some work).
I'm so lucky to have stumbled on this site and have already learned so much. I've read the Total Money Makeover and we are making plans to change our life. Thank you all for your wonderful advice and support of one another. I feel priveleged to be here (as long as you accept me: ).

Hi Jilly, and welcome to the village from the beautiful Georgia Coast.

I have a dear friend who lives in Redgranite, WI, and she and her hubby are leaving today in their RV to spend the winter in Texas. They have children who live in Green Bay and they are all big Packer fans.
