Another newbie :)
I'm horrible at introductions, so I'll use the [ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47593]New Member Questionnaire[/ame].
---------------------------------------------
How did you hear about frugal village?
I have actually been a member here a few times throughout the past three years. I was fairly active the last time that I was here, but I've since forgotten my username/password for this site as well as others and have also changed my e-mail address since then. So I'm back here under Vegreenmom. I think I originally found this forum through a Google search.
What interests you here?
Anything and everything basically. The forums I've been reading so far since I've rejoined are...
[ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=5]Frugal Living[/ame] (and its subforums), [ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=221]Financial Hardship[/ame], [ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=216]Just Tips[/ame], [ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=20]Simple Living[/ame], and [ame=http://www.frugalvillage.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=52]Natural Living[/ame].
Do you know any other members here?
Hmmm, not that I'm aware of.
How many kids? Ages?
I have one son. His name is Jacob, but we call him Jah for short (JAH are his initials). He will be turning 14 months on Christmas.
Tell us about yourself.
This is the part I never seem to be that great at. I'll try it out though. My name is Christina, but I go by Christi. I'll be 22 this upcoming January, and I'm a stay-at-home mom to my son Jah and a loving wife to my husband Alex. I'm currently on the edge of being vegan. I still give in very occasionally to dairy or eggs, but I'm working hard on finally getting rid of them. I have actually said that as of January 1st I won't be consuming them any more, it's a resolution I'm certain I can keep as I'm very strong willed. I guess that's all in this section
. Oh, I forgot...I also tend to be very opinionated. But not the kind of opinionated person who pushes their beliefs on others. I believe highly in karma and acts of kindness, so I would never be rude and try to force others to believe the same as me.
Do you own any pets?
We share our home with a rescued American Pit Bull Terrier named Roxy who is five years old as of early October. She's the most timid dog I've met in my life, and I'm happy to be able to call her my fur-daughter.
SAHM or Working mom?
As of now I stay at home, and love it. However, my husband and I have to pay out our deductible because of me going to the hospital (about 1k)...so I'm planning to get a part-time job on nights and weekends. That way our son won't have to be put into daycare.
Married or single?
Happily married to the love of my life since September first of this year.
Interests and hobbies?
Animal rights activism, fitness and nutrition, reading, writing, sewing, or anything artsy/crafty.
