What do you think of these stocking stuffers?
I live in a very small apartment with 2 teens. Both have jobs so they buy most of their hair, body and skin products. My bathroom is very small and cannot hold another thing. So instead of buying them more personal care items for their stockings I bought them each 2 different boxes of their favorite crackers( I don't buy them very often)beef jerky, 2 lg pkgs of sugar free gum and a 4 pk of reese's peanut butter cups. What do you think? Will the kids think I lost it? I can't wait to see the expressions on their faces.

Sounds pretty typical of what I got as a teen in my stocking. My mom also always put in socks and maybe pens or something I could use at school.

My 15 yr. old DD gets upset if she doesn't have several packs of her favorite gum, Reese's peanut butter cups, Hershey's kisses, Jolly Ranchers and Slim Jim's in her stocking. In fact, even my grown kids expect and greatly appreciate getting their favorite snacks.

Snacks/candy are pretty standard stocking stuffers here, so sounds good to me.

For the niece and nephews, we have been known to give snacks such as Little Debbie's snack cakes, crispy rice treats, granola bars, apples, oranges, bananas, pudding cups, hot chocolate packets, juice boxes, microwave popcorn, crackers with cheese/peanut butter. We don't like to give candy because they get enough from everyone else. Other stuff we give is lip balms, individual lotions, tissues/Kleenexes, tootpaste/toothbrush, hair do-dads (for the niece), combs/brush sets.
This list is included for both stocking stuffers at Christmas and for Easter baskets.Kim

I love the snack idea. I give socks, undies, one candy thing (usually a chocolate orange), toothbrushes, makeup, and school supplies like pencils and sticky notes.

I just bought the stocking stuffers for my sister's teenage kids yesterday. He gets lots of reeses and gum, the girls get nail polish, makeup, candy and gum. I might pick up toothbrushes for them today.

I like it! We always got the normal bath supplies, nail clippers, nail files etc. But my dad was always in charge of stuffing stockings, and it was great to get the gum, slim jims and favorite candy. Stockings are always the last thing we open we love it so much!
