truck broke down ugh

I wonder if I could shoot our 2002 ford king cab truck? Hubby said he's at the point of giving it away soon lol
It was making noise yesterday and when he went to get the kids their free 12 in pizza (given to them by friends) from pizza delight. The spark plus blew right out of the motor, cracked some of the plastric right off ,of corse the spark pkug is stripped and the coil is suppose to be the problem.
He had to take it in the garage today and get towed. I hope its ubnder $300 because i think he'll be sneaking in the rent money. And i dont think the lanlord is going to say sure, Ill wait till next week. ughhhh\

hubby didint have to touch rent money. It was only $152 with labour included. they had to make a new coil to fit it, and said its not a 100% sure it will last for now. They tried everything for parts ,etc.
If it goes again then its going be over 8 hr to fix without parts $50 /hr.ughhh, thats for some exspensive redo over engine.

I am glad they were able to fix it failry inexpenisvely, usually whne that happens the head has to be removed you you have to helicoil the injectors (maybe that is the 8 hour fix they are talking about.) I am glad you have an honest mechanic who seems to be looking out for you!
