    Default I'm an "OKIE"

    Hi, I'm a newbee & live in NE Oklahoma. My DH & I have been married seven years & are raising his granddaughters 12 & 6. We were going to retire but decided to refire ! This is a second family for both of us. DH commutes 110 miles a day to work. I'm a SAHM (never home) and also take care (semi care) of my mom who is in a nursing facility not far from us. I love to work in the garden and can or vacuum pack the harvest. Teaching both girls life skills is a must! Being "older"....much older parents it's just us four! Most of the people we know are retired & travel or busy with their grandchildren. We love to travel, short trips, museums,& country beauty. DH loves to do woodworking and I love to do crafts, sew, crochet & cook from scratch. We do everything as a family & feel blessed to have another chance to raise children.
