Did you and your family get to Disney for Christmas?

Thanks for asking.....

We decided at literally the last minute to postpone this year's trip for a couple of reasons. The main reason was we had a few things we wanted to do around our house like get new floors, new bed, etc...So we spent most of the money on that and put the rest back into savings for when we go in March.

The good news is we are going to actually go three times in 2008 - March, October and December. We are going to go down for ESPN Weekend in March - 4 day trip, in October for 5 days so we can go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, then between 5-7 days next December. DD and I have always wanted to go for the Halloween party so we are really excited about that. DS and DH are looking forward to the ESPN weekend. I think I am going to like the idea of taking a couple of smaller trips instead of one big trip. DH has made our reservations and is getting everything all set up.

The bad thing is I am really in need of my Mickey fix - getting very antsy and anxious. I want to be there so badly right now. Christmas was not quite the same being home but I survived. I am a big, spoiled baby and I was not real happy at first but I am getting over it. I let the kids put up a tree, decorate the house and do all of the traditional stuff so they were not too upset about not going right now.
