new member questionnaire
New to the site or haven't made your first post yet? Here's an icebreaker list of questions for you to use to post an intro. Please start a new thread in the welcome forum when you post your intro. How did you hear about frugal village? from someone on a Disney board I frequent
What interests you here? I like saving money, it's almost like a game or a challenge to me, but I also find that the more that we as a family do to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle, a lot of those things fit in with a more frugal lifestyle as well. Win-win situation
Do you know any other members here?

How many kids? Ages?
Three kids- a six year old girl and three year old boy/girl twins. In case I wasn't busy enough, I also watch my cousin's kids M-F. They are a girl, also age six (same class as my DD), and a girl, 18 months, and they are expecting a sibling in March. That ought to keep things lively around here
Tell us about yourself.
My name is Becky, I'm married to Ryan, SAHM to three. I'd like to get out more but my busy schedule doesn't really allow it so I keep busy through the kids. For example, my kids were just in the Nutcracker, so I was a backstage Mom. It's fun and it gives me a chance to volunteer a bit too. I'm also a girl scout leader for the third year in a row
Do you own any pets?
Three cats, a hamster and a fish tank.
SAHM or Working mom?
SAHM but I watch my cousin's kids too and that is a lot of work, so I guess I'm somewhere in the middle
Married or single?
married to my highschool sweetheart
Interests and hobbies?
I love to read, I like to bake, and right now I collect scrapbooking stuff. The goal is to eventually scrapbook but I don't seem to find the motivation at the end of the day. One of my goals for 2008 is to take a few classes and get back into it. I'm also going to be starting yoga classes.

How many kids? Ages? I have two daughters and two step-sons, 34, 32, 30 & 29....2 grandkids and one on the way in October
Tell us about yourself. I grew up in MA, moved to NH where I lived most of my adult life. I re-married 7 years ago to a wonderful man who lived in Maine, so here I am. I love to make candles and soaps. I love to read, use the computer, gardening, outdoor activities.

Interests and hobbies? reading anything I can get my hands on, candle making and soap making, I love to go camping, canoeing, fishing. And I love my grandkids, I don't see them enough!!
