Life in St. Paul, MN :(

Well... its almost 12am here and I'm wide awake...

We were playing a game here on the computers when all of the sudden the doorbell started ringing like crazy, nonstop. When Dave got to the door there was a black girl standing there asking for Joe (the guy we live with)... Dave told her he was asleep and that our baby is asleep also. She starts flipping out saying "You don't need to come out here raising your voice tellin me your baby's sleeping" and starts to push her way in the door. Well... Dave pushes back on the door... and she PUNCHES THE WINDOW OUT!
I ran and called the police and they picked her up down the street and had us ID her in the back of the car.
When we looked in to ID her... she had the nerve to shake her head, asking us to say no it wasn't her!!!!

Come to find out shes a crack head... the cops have known her for like 7 years.

They took our info and reports and some pictures of the house and window... THey did a citizens arrest, but she just got some kind of citation and a ride home... there will be a court date though.

Well... its morning and everything seems to be ok. I didn't sleep real well, though.

Come to find out Joe (the guy we stay with) dated this girl a few years back for like 3 wks. She has pushed her way in the house on him before and refused to leave... and one time she stood on his grill, breaking it, trying to break in a window. And just a few weeks back she rang our back door bell and Joe told her to go away... then he went out by the garage and she was sitting there smoking her crack. We called the cops then but they never showed up.
So we figure she will be back again.

I'm just glad Tyler was asleep and didn't have to go through it. He's young enough it wouldn't bother him right now... but I don't want to raise him around this.
Dave is talking about seeing if he can build a room in his parent's basement for us to stay in until we can get our own place. They live in Minneapolis but its a bit safer there.

They won't have a problem with it. We stayed there when I first moved here awhile back. All of their kids have come back at one time or another. lol

I am glad everyone is ok... Crackheads can be very unpredictable..... When they want more drugs (& they always do ) they can be very pushy and will do things they otherwise wouldn't, to get them.... What are people thinking when they mess around with sh*t like that ??? Is there not enough information even for the unread and ignorant ???

This guy we stay with is totally clean... won't even drink. I don't know what gets into him.

The cop when we said apparently he knew the girl said "Well whats that tell you?"

i also hope it all works out Sherry. I can't beleive the cops would come when called. I thought that only happened in small maine towns where your exhusband knows all the coppers. Anyway glad all is okay. sounds like living with the in~laws would be the best place to stay for now.

Yep... on the first we will build 2 rooms in their basement and move there. Not the most homey of places but it will be safer.
