Thumbs down My poor little girl is so sick!

Poor Rachel had chills this afternoon and complained of a headache. i took her temp and no fever, so I gave her Tylenol for the headache and she felt better soon.

I put her to bed at 9 and she was ok. Then she got up about midnight sobbing because her head hurt so badly. I took her temp and it was 101.9, so I gave her Tylenol again and brought her into bed wih me so I could watch her. 10 minutes later she puked up all the Tylenol all aver me, herself and my bed. Her fever was up to 102.5. I just gave her a cool bath, threw the sheets in the washer and am waiting for a call back from the nurse at Telehealth.

I am about to go back up in 5 minutes and take her temp again. I hope she is ok. Rachel is severely anemic (pervasive - her body does nto store iron) so it worries me when she throws up. When she was little it would drop her iron so low that she would faint, so it always sends me into panic mode.

    Thanks for listening!

    (((HUGS)))
Its heart breaking to see our little ones sick and miserable.

Let us know how she's doing in the morning.

Also, just and FYI - tylenol alone never breaks the fever for my boys - I have to give them both tylenol AND ibuprophen in order to get their temp down.

I hope she feels better soon!

Poor little sweetie! I hope things are a little better this morning. Sometimes they get so much worse during the night. Are you able to stay home with her today?
