Default I am letting my DSL go..

I am going to get dial up. I can save 40.00 a month. That adds up. It might be slow but I am spending 91.00 on my phone bill a month now. I have cut every thing to make my bill about 26.00 a month now. I am going to buy a phone card to make long distant calls or I have been doing the web site phone hog , and I get free Min's just for reading e mails.

    Good for you!!

We just cut down our cable and internet service as well, basic cable (local channels) basic high speed internet. It will cut my bill by more than half!

Plus, I start school next week so I won't really have time to watch 398 channels!

Good for you on taking the plunge on doing what's best for you. Maybe you'll be freeing up some time to do something else you enjoy. Hope it goes virtually painless for you & keep your eye on the prize.

I have dial up. I pay $9.23 a month. I cannot imagine paying $50 or more for internet. I work from home though and have time to let things load. Plus I do not do anything major on computer.

It does add up, good for you!

I think that's great, that you have found areas to cut.

Good for you. I use dial-up and only pay 16.95 a month. I plan on getting a computer in the summer but will keep the dial-up.

I agree; you got to do what you got to do. At least you will still be able to visit the forums. :-)

Sounds like a plan. I have dial-up. I just can't justify spending more money on something I mostly use for fun.
