We are moving ... YAY!!
I believe this weekend.. i am going to sign tommorrow and we are going to be moving 3 trailers down and to the other side of the road *LOL* It is a larger trailer 3br 2ba with larger living room and kitchen and a little over 1/2 acre lot, so i am pretty excited.
Except for the moving part .. bleck.. i hate moving but i am reminding myself i do not have to move anything heavy ill just be putting smaller things up in cabinets. Cause Joe and our neighbor will not let me pick anything heavy up *lol*. As they say if i do they will insert their feet up my butt cause i will be in DEEP trouble *lol*.
A lot of things are changing as we move. First our rent will be going up $45 which isn't bad. Then there is no washer and dryer in this new place, then offers us ones he has sitting in a building for $100 a peice and we can pay $50 a month til they are paid. Then tells us that the deposit that was just a deposit will now be a matinance fee and we will not get it back a deposit. The neat thing is that they left a sofa so we will have an extra sofa instead of still needing to get one.
But if thats what we have to do to get a bigger place so be it it will be worth it.

Woohoo! Maybe if you give Joe's gf a compliment off the bat she'll be more easy going & happy to help. Is Joe a big personality? Sometimes the gf or wife of these type of guys try to have big personalities too. Just be nice & don't worry about her. She just might be feeling a little intimidated herself or you just might be reading her wrong & she's nervous too. Happy wishes on your new diggs.

Great news, congratulations!

Darlene~ Nope Joe is mine ... its the neighbors GF that is loud and bossy. ( i think i did word that all backasswards didn't i)
He is very laid back and mellow yet there is a stubborness and strength there, and she is very bold and in your face CONSTANTLY and LOUD. Voice wise litterally she talks over people almost like all eyes must be on me type loud talking.

Lol, Joe is yours not hers, got it.
You explained it fine, I just got it messed up.
Just smile as she's talking (she may actually be nervous & that's why she talks so much or she really does like the spotlight so ask her questions about herself) and you'll be moved in before you know it. Keep your inner voice set on a "happy lalala I'm almost moved in" station. Omm...Omm...find your happy space and breathe. ahhhh
Happy new home!~*Darlene*~

*rotfl* Darlene!! So you do the OOOOomm madahadreeee Ohmmmmm too *lol*
Yeah tommorrow is D-day or M-day .. ehh what the heck .. we are moving tommorrow. And of course what did i have to get but hit full force with a head and chest cold Friday which it doesn't help that i am pregnant so i feel drained. I am not sleepy mentally but physically i feel like i'm about to drop on the floor. I have a Dr's appointment on the 8th which at the rate its been going i will still have this crappy cold by then cause its just getting worse instead of better.
Joe wouldn't let me go down tonight and clean wanted me to get some sleep instead since i am working til 7 am .. and to try and get what sleep i can here.
Then tommorrow when i get home he is going to go down and carpet clean starting in our bedroom and living room and then the other 2 rooms while i get to sleep. Then at 10 am he is going to wake me up and i will go down and clean while they are packing up the first load.
Then when they come down they are going to unload everything onto the counters that is small and place the bigger items for me so i do not lift anything.
They are hoping to have everything finished and moved by Lunch or shortly after, which with a van and a trailer (& hand trucks and milk crates) to move things 200-300yrds. It shouldn't take that very long cause we really do not have that much stuff.
The only big items they will have to move will be a double bed (matress, box spring, and wooden base), one night stand, 2 dressers ( one is the babies), crib, a recliner couch thing, 2 end tables, a coffee table, a puny entertainment center, a kitchen table w 4 chairs, a HUGE chest freezer. And everything big but the chest freezer probubly will probubly fit on the first load.
After that there is just the back stock of groceries, our clothes, baby clothes, the milk crates of soaps that are from my home business, Joe's Leather business stuff is still all pretty much in the car except for a few things since Saturday he was at the flea market, and taking all the food out of the freezer so they can move that bad boy. Which i am just hoping it will fit in the door *lol*
Oh they left a couch though. It will need a little TLC, but it will be fine for right now. I think that i am going to make a slip cover for on it. If i can find some nice $1 wally world fabric thats durable. They did have some nice Grey fabric that would be perfect. I used it for another project of mine and its very nice stuff. And maybe a YRD of a fabric that matches our recliner couch to make some pillows so that they will tie in.
This place needs some paint DESPRITELY.. because its the old panneling and it looks like people played darts on the walls because people put so many nails in. The people before us did some cosmetic damage, like putting a fist through a wall and cracking the edging off a corner ( So i am taking pics before anything gets moved into the place) The person who lived where we do now left paint and a 5 gallon bucket of primer so we are going to use that to paint , which we got permission. The landlord said he disliked painted panneling, but i think i might spring for some hole filler and fill in the panneling lines and the nail holes. Cause it bugs me cause the place we live in now looks nice just no room, this place has room but doesn't look as spiffy on the inside. The outside paint looks pretty.
I am also going to ask if he has a peice of the cornering, heck i will put it in if he gives me the material!! I want the place to look nice for us and our baby which will be coming here in april.
Once we get everything moved inside... i guess we will be moving some things from outside this summer my mom and grandmother brought a pickup bed full or plants which we planted in my yard. Well Poo now i got to move at least a good bit of them. The herbs and taller plants that like sun are coming at the very least. The shade plants will be better off staying since there will be no shade down there. Even better now everything is dead and i can't see where where we planted things DOLP
!!
