Aloha from Hawaii
Hello there. My name is Lynette and I am a SAHM to Brandon (18 months) and wife to a Navy man, Kerry. We are currently stationed in Honolulu, HI. Before we had B we had two incomes, and getting used to living off one is really tough. Especially living here, because the cost of living is through the roof. I need to really start pinching every penny I can find. I even pick up discarded cans and bottles when I am out walking the dog for extra nickels. And now with having a child I am always looking for natural ways to clean, and better ideas for food that are cheap.
You have some great tools on this page and I am looking forward to chatting with you all.

Welcome to the village!
We love Ohau! Have you started buying your fruits and veggies at the Pearl Ridge Swap Meet on Weekends? How about down in the Square in Chinatown. The fishmarkets are wonderful (there are several good boothes inside by the food court.). So many great meals can be made for a few dollars. I'm assuming you've discovered THE BUS and have limited your personal car travel.
